All our studs are fully health tested. Please visit “Our studs” tab for pictures and info including health testing results for all our current studs.

Stud fee is due in cash at time of first breeding after contract is reviewed and signed by both parties.

Qualifications for stud services, females.

* Clear Brucellosis within 10 days with no other exposure to intact male

* AKC Breed health testing for all breeds (see AKC website)

* Genetic Testing

* Live cover or AI 2 days

We require a brucellosis screen for all females prior to mating to ensure all females are clear of this very infectious STD. You can have your own vet do this and provide the results to us prior to first breeding.

Timing is of upmost importance for successful conception and adequately sized litters. Breeding too early or too late and you may miss completely or have a very small litter. We suggest at least a progesterone to be done on females leading up to breeding to pinpoint ovulation so we can ensure to breed during most fertile window. We want all our clients to have the best outcomes possible with large healthy litters and progesterone testing ensures this. The rate of success is over 95% with progesterone testing.
